Dubai World invest in MGM Mirage

08/22/2007:
Dubai World, investment holding firm of the Dubai government, announced that it has agreed to invest up to $5.2 billion in MGM Mirage. The deal will involve Dubai World purchasing 9.5 percent stake in MGM for about $2.4 billion and will invest about $2.7 billion, a 50 percent stake in MGM's CityCenter project. Which is a 76-acre Las Vegas development project that includes hotels, condos and retail outlets and s due to open in 2009.

Hurricane Dean is heading towards Tulum, Mexico

08/20/2007:
Hurricane Dean is heading towards Tulum, Mexico which has forced many tourists to flee the vacation location and beaches of the Mayan Riviera. Petroleos de Mexico, a Mexico's state oil company, will be evacuating more then 14,000 offshore workers. Cancun's international airport was busy with many tourists waiting to get flights to head out.

Google Pack will now include Sun Microsystems StarOffice

Google Pack will now include Sun Microsystems StarOffice suite as part of the freely downloadable collection of productivity software. Google pack currently includes such software as Google Earth, Google Desktop, Firefox with Google Toolbar, Adobe Reader, Skype, RealPlayer, Norton Security Scan and other Google software.
